Now that I finally feel recovered from Chicago Marathon and Richmond Half Marathon, I definitely feel like it’s time to figure out what my [running] goals for 2013 are. I’m ready to start a new training cycle, and am excited to get my base mileage back up to where I want it to be. This year was more focused on trying to find balance between running/racing/family, and getting myself back to running a fall marathon.
Now that I have marathon #4 done, do I want to focus on #5 for the spring? Do I want to stick to maybe getting a PR in the Half Marathon distance? Or, do I possibly just stick to doing shorter races like 5 and 10K’s for next year? Or, do I want to have a little bit of everything? Right now, I’m still not sure. and that’s O.K. 🙂
This morning, I met up with my friend, Kathy, for a easy paced 7 mile run. We chatted away and the miles seem to quickly go by.
