It’s Foodie Pen Pal Reveal time! For the month of October, my FPP match was Casey from Philly, PA. She’s a blogger, vegetarian, and University of Michigan football fan. Her blog, Salted Plates.com, is full of delicious recipes (she loves foods finished with salt, hence the name of her blog), and, during CSA season, she includes what’s included in each week’s share. She also posts about what’s growing in her community garden (Spring Gardens).
When my box arrived in the mail, I couldn’t wait to see what she had included.
Barbara’s Snackimals animal crackers, Amy’s Thai Coconut soup, toasted coconut almonds, chocolate chip brownie Larabar, Justin’s Maple Almond Butter, Endangered Species dark Chocolate with Espresso Beans bar, and, homemade blueberry jam, made with local NJ blueberries.
Thank you so much Casey!! Also included in the box was a really sweet handwritten note listing the items, and why she chose to include them. 🙂
I’m really looking forward to having the soup- never tried that flavor before. looks yummy though! Larabar is one of my favorite snack bars (I ate that right after opening the box ;), the maple butter is delicious on apple slices, the blueberry jam I had to try with my breakfast the next morning, and, the Snackimals and toasted coconut almonds were super yummy snacks that even my kids couldn’t get enough of. 🙂 The chocolate bar….. Can it get any better than dark chocolate and espresso beans?! Not to mention, Endangered Species bars rock! Not only in flavor, but, I love that a portion of the proceeds goes to help save the Rain Forests.
Thank you again, Casey for the wonderful box!
